The new Charnwood C-five has arrived!

Come and see for yourselves the new addition to the fantastic Charnwood  C series.

The British manufacturer has definitely created a real buzz with this new stove, offering even more choices than before. Great design, CE approved, & great efficiencies are only some of the few great points about this stove.
 
But what makes the C-Five so attractive is the wide landscape window, which offers a larger view of the fire and at just 5Kw, it can be installed without the need of an external air supply. Thus, should you wish to install it in a new build property, it has a built-in air manifold to meet the building regs requirement too!

 

 

 

Like all the C series stoves, it will come either as a wood-burner or a multi-fuel stove. It can take logs up to 300mm (12") and as it meets all the Defra requirements to burn wood in smoke control areas, it is also a perfect stove choice in our urban areas.

Heatsource at the Burghley Horse Trials!

Heatsource of Uppingham will be taking a selection of its best-selling wood-burning and multi-fuel appliances at the forthcoming Burghley Horse Trials held at Burghley House, Stamford from Thursday 2nd September to Sunday 5th September.

Our display will include live stoves from the British manufacturer -Charnwood- as well as some appliances from Clearview, Morso & Chesneys.

And because, we are trying to offer heating with a difference, we will also be taking a small selection of our very popular Carron cast iron radiator collection.

To power our live stoves, we will be using Certainly Wood Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs and other wood fuel products. Certainly Wood sources its timber from well-managed British woodlands. The benefits of burning kiln dried logs (or well seasoned logs) on wood-burner can be explained to you by our team on the stand.

New Clearview Stove - the 400P- on display at Heatsource

We at Heatsource are proud to have on display the new Clearview 400P.

This stylish new appliance is the integral log store version of the very popular 5kw stove in the Clearview Stove Collection - the Pioneer 400 - to give you more storage for logs or kindling.

Like all the other stoves in the Clearview Collection, the 400P has as standard the very large Clearview Double Glazed window to give you a big fire picture, the Clearview "Hot Air Wash System" for a balanced clean combustion, an excellent air control providing long burn period, a rotary grate for easy ridling, and is available in the seven Clearview colours. The one in the picture above in the elegant Charcoal Grey finish with Satin Chrome Fittings for a contemporary touch.

Like all the other Clearview stoves, its heavy steel construction welded inside and outside means that it is built to last.

Heatsource attends an Anki Pumice Liner System Training Day

Over the years, our team of qualified Hetas engineers have worked with many flue systems from Class 1 twin wall flexible stainless steel to Pumice liners to offer customers the most suitable re-lining or new chimney system tailored to their needs; but when Anki, one of the UK leading brands in pumice liner, offered to show us how to use their system, we welcomed the opportunity to find out more about their products and attended their hand-on training day in the West Midlands to brush up on our skills!

A Pumice liner is made of volcanic rock, which means that it has the capacity to accomodate and hold the highest temperature. It is also called a modular lining system because of its easy to assemble "Lego" like block and round liners (different shape for different applications such as new build or re-lining). 

Because Pumice is a natural insulator as it retains the heat longer, making it a superior choice over the commonly used clay liners when building a completely new chimney. Therefore when you installed a wood-burning appliance with a pumice system, it will perform more efficiently as the flue will take less time to warm up. This also reduces the chance of tar and condensation, one of the main main problems when burning un seasoned fuel.

The Anki Pumice liners have the CE approval mark, sign that the product has been tested to the highest standard which gives you peace of mind that the product is of the highest quality. Finally, it has a life expectancy of 65 years, which means that you are unlikely to have to replace it during your lifetime..

Introducing the new Morso 5400 series wood burning stove range at Heatsource

Heatsource are proud to announce the arrival of the new Morso 5400 series wood burning stoves to their range of high quality stoves.

There are two models in the range, a free-standing model 5448 (which is LIVE IN THE SHOWROOM) and an attractive inset model 5460. They are both rated at 6.2kw and have the ability of ducting external air direct into the stove for combustion. This feature can make this stove be an attractive option for those who are building carbon neutral homes.

They incorporate the Morso cast -iron tradition together with up-to-date stove technologies.
