Defra Announcement - February 2020

Dear Followers,

In the light of the recently publicised “ban of house coal and wet wood sales” that was announced last Friday, we at Heatsource wanted to take this opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings.

For many years, we have always talked about the importance of burning the right fuel on quality appliances, as they were designed, and the ban has just validated our long term view of the subject. We wholeheartedly approve of the ban.

Poor fuels, used incorrectly, have been the source of many issues that we have been aware of and tried to steer our clients away from.

To be clear the ban is not on wood burners but on poor fuels and inefficient appliances like open fires.

We would welcome the opportunity to chat on the matter at anytime and should you wish to pop into the showroom, one of our very knowledgeable staff would be happy to explain any part of the ban to you.

Should you also wish to talk about upgrading your current installation, feel free to visit us too or maybe simply try some “ready to burn” wood, we always carry some @certainlywood ready to burn handy bags for your convenience so you don’t have to look for it.

The red and orange logo is easily recognisable!
